Merseyside Innovation Awards 2009 Finalists

The three finalists have been revealed for this year's Merseyside Innovation Awards and will compete on 9 July for a £10,000 cash prize plus, £4,000 of consultancy, support and publicity.

Isothermal Technology, a temperature calibration business in Southport with a new precision thermometer, Landlife Group, a wildlife charity in Liverpool with a new forestry technique, and Industrial Purification Systems of St Helens, which has developed an innovative water filter technology, will present their technologies to a panel of expert judges in July and one will be crowned winner of the Merseyside Innovation Awards 2009.

The awards aim to recognise and reward the use of innovation as a means of boosting growth and profitability and are sponsored by Insider, Vanguard, Alliance Fund Managers, Amatica, BBC Radio Merseyside, Brabners Chaffe Street, Business Link, Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Paver Smith, RBS/Natwest, RTC Northwest, The University of Liverpool Business Gateway and WP Thompson.
